The LR520 is the most compact wood shredder within the LR class. Its modest footprint is less than 11 sq ft, meaning that it can easily be integrated into the smallest carpenter’s workshops. We developed this single shaft wood shredder specifically for small wood working shops. Due to its unique, pusher-free design, the shredder is not only compact in size, but also particularly low maintenance. This is the ideal machine for wood working shops, with smaller wood waste quantities.
The wood shredder with its pusher-free design features a pull-in mechanism with very few moving parts. This reduces machine maintenance costs to a minimum. The gear damper cushions strong blows during the shredding process and ensures quiet machine operation. In addition, the wood shredder is equipped with a foreign object detection system and an automatic shut-down function to prevent damage to the shredder cutters. The LR520 easily shreds any type of wood, such as waste wood, chipboard, and long splinter wood. The homogeneous wood chip quality produced by the shredder is ideal for alternative fuel, incineration in a wood chip heating system, or for manufacturing wood briquettes.
A major advantage of the LR520 wood shredder is its energy efficiency. The proven cutting system in the shredder can easily shred residual timber and only requires a drive capacity of 11 kW. If the machine stands idle for more than three minutes, it will shut down automatically. This saves energy whilst simultaneously reducing the operating costs of your wood working shop.
The LR520 wood waste grinder can be used to shred hardwood and softwood, OSB board, chipboard, MDF sheets, veneers, and other materials produced during timber processing, from which it produces high-quality wood chips.
Each of our wood shredders is customized to your individual wood shredding needs. These machines can also be equipped with a metal separator, a conveyor system, or a customized hopper. We offer comprehensive, single-source solutions!

Shredding residual timber with nails or screws is no problem for our shredders. Pipe magnets are commonly used in extraction situations to separate metal pieces from the wood. We can offer you different pipe magnets depending on your application.
